Within every young person is someone extraordinary waiting to be seen, believed in, and given the courage to grow.

That is why I write. To help young people recognise that their voices matter, their mistakes do not define their worth, and where they begin does not determine how far they can go. To help them stand with confidence, think independently, choose with integrity, and hold on to their humanity under pressure.

This conviction is at the heart of JASMINOURA and every page of The Compass: to nurture an inner compass that guides young people towards a deeper understanding of who they are, what they stand for, and the difference they can make.

The greatest legacy I hope to leave is a young person who can say: “I learned to believe in myself because someone believed in me first.”
